Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Harbourside Flooring Company. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully prior to confirming your booking.

1. Deposit Policy

To secure your booking, a deposit is required.

  • The deposit amount will be specified in your quote and will be applied toward your final invoice.

  • Deposits are non-refundable if a cancellation occurs within 14 days of the scheduled start date.

  • Work dates will not be reserved, nor will work commence, until the deposit has been received in full.

2. Site Requirements

To facilitate a smooth and efficient installation, we kindly request that the following conditions are met:

  • The work area must be fully cleared of all furniture and personal belongings prior to our arrival.

  • Uninterrupted access to electricity and water must be available for the duration of the project.

  • Safe and unobstructed access to the property must be granted during all scheduled working hours.

3. Delays and Additional Charges

We are not responsible for delays resulting from:

  • Inaccessible work areas

  • Incomplete site preparation

  • Lack of access to required utilities

Any additional time, materials, or labour necessitated by unforeseen circumstances may be added to the final invoice.

4. Liability Disclaimer

While we strive for excellence in workmanship, Harbourside Flooring Company cannot be held liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to flooring or subfloors

  • Damage resulting from inadequate site preparation

  • Issues arising from misuse or improper maintenance after installation

  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

5. Final Payment

The remaining balance is payable immediately upon job completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • Late payments may be subject to interest charges or legal recovery proceedings.

6. Cancellations

All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email is acceptable).

  • Cancellations made within 14 days of the scheduled start date will forfeit the deposit.

  • Cancellations made more than 14 days in advance may be eligible for a refund, minus any administrative or planning costs already incurred.

7. Warranties

Any applicable warranties or guarantees will be clearly detailed in your quote or invoice.

  • Warranties do not cover general wear and tear, misuse, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions provided.
